Welcome to the New Kingdom Website!

We are excited to announce the launch of our new kingdom website with many new features!

We are excited to announce the launch of our new kingdom website! This platform has been built from the ground up to better serve the populace of Northshield.

New features include:
- Modern, mobile-friendly design
- Improved Order of Precedence search
- Online award recommendations
- Comprehensive officer directory
- Martial activities and authorization tracking

We will continue to add features over the coming months. If you have suggestions or find any issues, please contact the Kingdom Webminister.

Crown Tournament Approaches

Crown Tournament will be held February 15th at Castel Rouge. Letters of Intent due February 1st.

Crown Tournament for the Spring reign will be held at Castel Rouge on February 15th, 2026. All fighters wishing to compete for the Crown must submit their Letter of Intent to the Kingdom Seneschal by February 1st.

Requirements:
- Must be a paid SCA member
- Must have a valid consort who meets all requirements
- Must have authorization in armored combat
- Must submit Letter of Intent

Northwatch Submissions Open

Submit your articles, photos, and artwork for the Spring Northwatch by February 28th.

The Northwatch is now accepting submissions for the Spring issue. We are looking for:
- Event reports and photos
- Arts & Sciences articles
- Poetry and short fiction
- Heraldic artwork
- How-to guides

Deadline for submissions is February 28th. Please send all submissions to chronicler@northshield.org.

Winter Coronation Event Registration Now Open

Early registration now open for Winter Coronation on March 1st at Jararvellir.

Registration is now open for Winter Coronation, to be held March 1st at Jararvellir. Early registration rates are available until February 15th.

Site opens at 9:00 AM. Court will begin at 2:00 PM. Feast will follow court (feast is limited, register early!).

Adult registration: $15 ($20 at door)
Child registration (6-17): $5
Under 6: Free

Kingdom A&S Competition Announced

Kingdom A&S Competition will be held at Spring Crown. Categories and entry information available from MoAS.

The Kingdom Arts & Sciences Competition will be held in conjunction with Spring Crown Tournament on February 15th at Castel Rouge.

Categories this year include:
- Fiber Arts
- Culinary Arts
- Smithing
- Woodworking
- Scribal Arts
- Research Papers
